Jay Cady is a 1978 graduate of Princeton University with a degree in World Religions.
Leslie Seifert-Cady is a 1978 graduate of Emporia State University with a degree in Theater.
Training:
Jay & Leslie were two of sixty students chosen to study mime with Marcel Marceau the first time he taught in the United States in 1984.
They studied physical comedy with John Townsen, author of “Clowns”, in New York City in 1985.
They attended a six week mime and variety arts workshop at Tony Montanaro’s Celebration Barn Theater in Maine in 1983.
Other Influences:
Jay & Leslie both grew up fans of the Smothers Brothers.
When cable television first came around they watched lots of episodes of the Burns & Allen Show.
