Jay combines his love of science and circus skills in this lively and engaging workshop. He starts with poems he wrote about famous scientists. Each poem has a juggling trick or mime illusions to go with it.

Students next learn about kinetic and potential energy. Jay teaches these concepts using bean bags, spinning plates, chinese yo-yo, and other juggling props.

In the finale students make up experiments to figure out “The Mystery of the Four Boxes”. Students use creative problem solving to deduce the contents of the boxes without opening them.
