“Read It Right Now” begins with a mime alphabet. Jay performs mime illusions from A (for arrow) to Z (for zipper).
Jay does W. C. Fields’ three cigar box manipulation with letters on the boxes so the kids can read the answers to Leslie’s riddles.
This is followed by a magic trick using four magic bags and words on pieces of fabric. The four bags magically transform the word put in the appropriate bag into a rhyming word, a synonym, an antonym, or a homophone. Through many steps we magically tranform “HAT” into “RABBIT”.
The show ends with Leslie improvising stories based on nouns, verbs, and adjectives suggested by the students.
