Juggling The Earth's Resources

Appropriate For: Grades K-6

Best For: Grades 2-5

Program Length: 45 minutes

Curriculum Objectives: Atoms, Molecules, Carbon Dioxide Cycle, Global Warming, the Water Cycle, Recycling

There are dangers to our environment, and we all need to know more about the science of our ecological systems. In this engaging school assembly students have fun while learning about Earth Science.

We use juggling balls to illustrate how atoms combine to make molecules like H2O and CO2. We examine the carbon dioxide cycle and how the buildup of greenhouse gasses can cause global warming.

We demonstrate the water cycle with the assistance of audience volunteers. Juggling the Earth's Resources concludes with a lively and fun introduction to recycling.
