Jay likes the number 36 because it is a square number and a triangular number. We juggle bean bags and stack cups to illustrate why.
Leslie likes the number 999 because it tickles the roof of her mouth when she says it. Jay likes the number 317537 because when you put it in a calculator and turn it upside down is spells “LESLIE”.
Gloriously bad puns abound in the fairy tale “The Ruler Who Measured Too Much”. Leslie is a queen under a spell that make her measure things all of the time. Jay is Sir Cumference who must get her to break the spell by drinking the Pythagorean Serum.
