Kansas City Young Audiences gave us the 2010 Lighton Prize, their highest honor for Teaching Artists! We received our trophy (and a cash prize) at the annual Arts for Learning and Living Luncheon. The prize is a gift of the Lighton Family and is given annually to one artist or ensemble for "excellence in teaching" and integration of arts into educational programs.
